ICAT operates a state-of-the-art computer lab specifically for Idahoans with disabilities. A majority of our clients come to our computer lab on a regular basis to work on
improving cognitive and/or motor skills, or to prevent loss of their current skills.
Other consumers come in one time to try out various adapted computer access hardware and/or software. Our consumers work with software that includes early learning (colors, shapes, letter and number recognition), reading, money handling skills, cooperative turn-taking during a computer game, or now to use many standard Microsoft Office programs. ICAT’s computer lab has ten personal computers.
